Not long after our son was diagnosed with autism, we realized that occupational therapy was so valuable for him. What we learned over time is that it helps our entire family. We are so grateful for Becky! She is warm, caring, encouraging, and knowledgeable. When we first started working with Becky someone told me she was the child whisperer, and I couldn’t agree more. She may also be the parent whisperer! We have learned so much from her. She is patient and always learning and looking for ways to help. She not only works with our son but also teaches us. Because she only works with him for an hour a week, it is so helpful to go home with ideas, strategies, and tools to work towards our goals. She has been available to talk through so many things with us over the years and has helped us make informed decisions for our son’s care. I can’t recommend Becky enough! She is truly a gift. ~ J. read moreBecky is one-of-a-kind OT who is also certified in RDI (Relationship Development Intervention, one that develops relationship and problem solving). We have been with her for 10 years. She is what I call my “gold nugget therapist”, an out-of-the-box thinker who has answers for problems that I haven’t found from anyone else, ones that are sensible and based on sound findings. This is because Becky is constantly learning herself in areas such as reflex integration, neurodevelopment work, and montessori.
Becky was a God-send for both my daughter, Katelyn, and me, and really for our whole family. I continue to learn so much from her that has been invaluable, while emulating her at home. She truly brings out the best in Kately LOVES “working” with Becky. It is a joy to see them interacting and is such an encouragement to me.
