Occupational Therapy
Integrations Children’s Therapy provides occupational therapy sessions in a one to one clinic or school environment that is equipped with sensory integration and motor development tools and equipment.
Comprehensive evaluations are conducted by Becky Doolittle McFalls, MHS, OTR/L. The Evaluation process requires 10-12 hours of the therapist time. It includes 2-4 hours of direct assessment with the child and primary caregivers, a comprehensive detailed written evaluation, and an evaluation feedback meeting with the primary caregiving team.
Individual Occupational Therapy Intervention is developed based on the unique needs of each family and child, one to one. Goals and treatment strategies are developed in a family centered approach to gaining better self-regulation, sensory processing, body awareness, motor planning, and development of gross and fine motor skills. Becky pulls from her 20+ years of experience using sensory integration, guided participation, motor development, listening therapy (ILS) and reflex integration training (MNRI and RMTi) to help the child tap into all their greatness. Treatment is a fun, adult guided approach where we support the child to the “just right challenge” while introducing them to approach new edges of their development safely and confidently. It is always an environment that respects and empowers the family to learn new strategies to approach day to day developmental challenges.
